Dale W. Mason, CPA 

With over twenty five years of experience in 
international tax consultancy, including almost twenty years with four large global accounting firms such as Arthur Anderson, PWC and KPMG. Dale has practiced tax in California, Central Europe, and in the Washington D.C. Metro Area.  

Dale developed his international tax expertise while working as an expatriate tax technical

expert in KPMG’s Washington National Tax

Office.  Dale was responsible for researching complex tax technical cases raised by KPMG senior management across the U.S. and analyzing and keeping a pulse on tax legislation and treaties affecting expatriates. While building and directing Central Europe’s largest expatriate tax practice for PwC, Dale developed a keen understanding of the issues surrounding living abroad and the significant international tax and financial problems that expatriates face.  

For the last decade, he has been a highly 

sought after speaker and a trusted tax advisor to employees, retirees and families from the World Bank, International Monetary Fund, International American Development Bank, and the United Nations. While Dale is very passionate about technical tax subject matters, he also has a warm and approachable style that invites his audiences and clients to ask practical and relevant questions during his seminars.

Dale earned a B.S. in Economics with an Accounting emphasis from the University of California at Santa Barbara. He is the former chairman of the Nexia’s Global Mobility Tax Services and is a Member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants. He has been married for over 25 years, has two sons, an active, black Labrador Retriever

and resides in Vienna, Virginia. A fun fact about Dale is that he loves to sing karaoke, and has a spot on Elvis Presley impersonation!
